For October, focus on the Draw Europe book. By the end of the month, you should be able to accurately draw and label European countries and oceans from memory. 

1. First, Complete the Europe Scavenger Hunt 
2. Pick 5 countries and fill out the country report sheet for each.

Don't forget that Stack the Countries will help you practice memorization! 

UNIT EXAM

Label a preprinted map with the countries of Europe. (You won't have to draw it from memory.)

MONTH PROJECT: 

You will create a final drawing of Europe on regular paper. All the countries, country capitals, major rivers, major biomes, and major landforms must be labeled and colored. Make sure your map has a title and a legend. Ask if you have questions about where to find information or how to format your map.
